Biography

Architect and urbanist, master’s student in urban planning and information design by the Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), based in Fortaleza, Brazil. Member of the Laboratory of Studies in Housing (LEHAB) of UFC, co-founder and partner of the NGO Taramela Assessoria Técnica and member of the social network for the right to housing and to the city, Frente de Luta por Moradia Digna (FLMD). Developed advocacy-research in themes of the urban and housing impacts of 2014’s World Cup, Fortaleza’s favelas, social housing made by the program Minha Casa Minha Vida, and made part of the Displacement Observatory of the LEHAB-UFC. In Taramela Assessoria Técnica developed public space interventions, promoted counter mappings and projects thataimed to avoid evictions, and is a member of one public managing council of a Special Zones of Social Interest in Fortaleza. In FLMD participated and contributed to popular open classes about urban and housing planning, and the monitoring of urban and housing policies.
